Ensuring Access to a Nurturing, Service-Oriented, Faith-Based Education
The Building A Brighter Future Scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship available for over 80 new and current families across our 18 Diocesan schools for the 2019-2020 academic year. The scholarship advances our mission to educate, inspire, and develop children into future leaders of the Church and community by expanding financial supports for new and current school families.
How It Works
In utilizing the National Standards for Free and Reduced-Priced Lunch, over 80 full-tuition scholarships will be awarded. An online application process will assist in determining eligibility — supporting families throughout the Greater Rochester, Finger Lakes, and Southern Tier regions.
The Department of Catholic Schools will assist new families with selecting and enrolling in a Diocese of Rochester school location throughout the application process.
The Building A Brighter Future Scholarship provides tuition assistance on a year-by-year basis. Each academic year will present the opportunity for new and current families to apply, or re-apply, for the scholarship.
Scholarship eligibility & application
Scholarship eligibility is set by the National Standards for Free and Reduced-Priced Lunch, outlined in the Eligibility Guide below.
